Team Building Events
Team building events bring co-workers together to work creatively in an out-of-office setting. Groups design their items, pick color, and work with teammates to fabricate pieces in hot glass! Depending on your group size and how much time you have, teams will either work together on a few larger pieces or each participant will create a smaller item.
These events are typically about 3 hours in length and accommodate 5 to 15 participants. We will be glad to work with you to customize the experience to the needs of your particular group.
Why Glass Blowing?
Glass blowing is a team sport. It takes several people working together to successfully create a piece, from initial design and concept all the way through to getting it off the blow-pipe and into the kiln. Bringing a group together to go through this creative process together will get collaborative juices flowing in a whole new way.
It's also a lot of fun, and quite unforgettable! Your team will be talking about their time in the glass studio for months to come.
Where is your studio?
Our studio is on Isabelle Road just west of Highway 287. We're about 20 minutes outside Boulder and 45 minutes from Denver.
What should participants know ahead of time?
Participants should wear closed-toe shoes, and those with long hair should bring a clip or hair tie to hold it back. Clothing made from natural fibers is also preferable in the glass studio.
What is your pricing for team building events?
We charge $100/participant. We request a $200 deposit at the time of booking, and bill for the balance after the event as we understand that the number of participants may not be final at booking. We ask for a final count by 72 hours before the start of the event.
